Oh how wonderful!!! Welcome Elise, welcome! Your heart must be full to bursting, Grandmaman! I wish you every joy at this newest and best stage of life. A whole world will open up, as seen through your granddaughter's eyes. There will be sweet adventures and a special place in a little girl's heart for you. Congratulations to mother, father and grandparents. Joy!!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Honora. This little girl will have a lot of family support, that is for sure!
SupprimerWhat brilliant news! You must be 'over the moon' and rejoicing. The pram is just so lovely. I can imagine you putting your pretty finishing touches to everything.
RépondreSupprimerCongratualtions!
Yes, Barbara, over the moon! The pram, btw. is a family heirloom from the French family and it is her other grandmother (who is equally over the moon) who did all that labour of love, just so adorable!
SupprimerDear Bayou, this post is so filled with sweet happiness, and I wish to join you in sending a welcome to Elise. Lots of love to your family! xo
RépondreSupprimerThank you Frances! I am looking forward to all that new chapter in life.
SupprimerCongratulations, Anke. Will you be called "Grandma?" Oh, that is American. What will baby Elise call you? You life will never be the same. I wonder how many trips you will making to England? And she does have very long fingers.
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Ann, we shall see if 'Oma' remains or if she will find another name... In anticipation of the many trips across the chanel, I have booked a season ticket :-). And it's not only her fingers which are long but if you saw her legs!!!
SupprimerSuch a lovely post, Bayou, with wonderful news of your new granddaughter Elise – a lovely name, too. The little berceau is charming and the perfect bed for a precious little infant. I am so happy for your family – toutes mes félicitations!
RépondreSupprimerMerci, Vagabonde! When I come out of summer 'sleep' I shall post again. But for the moment, just too busy enjoying life to the utmost.
